Treasurer Report –

Saffell asked that we consider that many of our members are on central time and
having meetings on EST is very early for these members. After a brief discussion it was decided that
in the future we will plan meetings accordingly.
Bob
brought to the Board’s attention that the treasury had lost approximately $2000
over the last three years. He said that
was due to the cost of the club’s newsletter, OVation ($1500) and trophies
($500). The Board discussed some ways to
stem this loss and recommendations were made at the general meeting for
OVation. It was agreed that nobody wants
to lose the quality of OVation and ad prices were increased.
The trophies (decals) were not discussed in the general meeting.

Specialty:
Adrienne Saffell brought to the
Board’s attention that Art Smith has carved a beautiful Irish walking stick and
has donated it to the club’s silent auction.
Ads are due camera ready by Feb. 7, 2006, mail to Lea
Jacobs. Help for creating ads can be
found on the Onofrio website. If you
need help creating your ads, Lanalee Jorgensen will be glad to help you.
Pam Hudson will need lots of help putting down the plastic
in the grooming rooms on Wednesday.
