Board Meeting

Columbus, Ohio

November 19, 2005

The Ohio Valley Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club board of directors meeting was called to order at 10:15am.

Members present were Lanalee Jorgensen, Bob Saffell, Pam Hudson, Nancy Oehlhof, Jean Fordyce and Robin Stewart.

All reports are in the general membership minutes.

A request was made by Sally Wynn, PWCCA rep and Pam Hudson, OVPWCC Secretary to have letterhead available.

Sally Wynn will be sending letters to vendors for our 2006 specialty.

Please send Silent Auction items to Carra Cole.

The banquet menu is set and will be a buffet. The cost will be $30.00.

A copy of the club’s insurance policy was given to Pam Hudson, Secretary by Bob Saffell.

The OV Rescue Parade will be held at the annual puppy match in September in Lexington, Ky.

The PWCCA Reps would like the full packet re: all reports instead of expanded agendas. This item was carried over to the general membership meeting, see outcome there.

An Ad hoc committee was formed to look at the OV Constitution and By-Laws. This committee is made up of Adrienne Saffell, Sally Wynn, and Gerald Kyle. The committee will report back at the January meeting. Nancy Oehlhof made a request for Lea Jacobs, asking that members be allowed to vote for officers by mail. This would be something for the Ad hoc committee to look into as a possible change.
