Minutes of last meeting approved as written (June 2012) motion to accept
minutes as written made by Neena Van Camp 2nd by Kathy Garcia passed
with opposition.
Report of the President
Gerald Kyle- Thanks to Blue Grass Show for accommodating us inside due to the
weather. Unfortunately the picnic had to be canceled but the decision was
made with the safety of all being the first and foremost priority.
The PWCCA will be invited to hold their spring meeting in
Louisville in March during our specialty. If the invitation is accepted it will
be a great boost to the number of exhibitors.
The club received many wonderful corgi collectable items from two
long time breeders that will used for the silent auction and raffle at the
specialty in March 2013.

In response to many
requests for a bathing station Gerald Kyle and Bruce Coyne have agreed to loan
their booster bath to the club so an outside bathing station can be set up.
There will be cold water only available and this will be contingent on the
weather.
Judges Selection Committee— Marilyn Roth Basinger update, 2015 specialty
Has assembled all approved judges and will be emailing the
membership for any requests of judges that they would like to have and then the
ballot will be mailed as in previous years.
Breeder Referral—
Judy Nolan has been getting a lot of inquiries for puppies. There
are no puppies available that Judy is aware of. If you have puppies contact
Judy.
Legislative—No new information.
Nominating—
Adrianne Saffell - Comm
has been working via email and face to face and they will have slate by Sept.
Nominations will be open till Nov 1 to nominate by mail. A letter of acceptance
must be included with nomination. Important to come to meetings must attend two
meetings in the prior year to be eligible for a bod or officer position. The
slate and nomination instructions/rules will be sent to membership.
Ovation—
Ovation will be going out next week waiting for Pres letter.

Will be submitting column
about spec with no photos.
Unfinished Business: 2nd reading of application for Mary Ann Wehmuller and vote. Vote was unanimous. Welcome to Mary Ann
Wehmuller as a new club member.
New Business:
There has been interest in having different trophies for future
specialties. A motion to form a committed to review and propose suitable
alternatives was made by Mary Parke, second by bob Saffell.
The committee will be chaired by Cheryl Heath; Sally Wynn and Carra Cole to be members.
Report will be submitted by the January meeting.
The AKC has included a new 4-6 month old puppy class at AKC
sanctioned shows. Discussion about Pros and Cons having this class at our
specialty ending with a Motion made to investigate further by John Thigpen 2nd Adrianne
Saffell 17 yeas 2 opposed. Motion passed.

50th Wedding Anniversary cake was provided to celebrate with Bob &
Adrianne.
Fourth Corgi book will be coming out at the National all of MRB
proceeds will be going to Rescue Adjournment Motion Mary Park 2nd Neena Van
Camp
